4030 is printable PU heat transfer vinyl (80 microns), with an opacity that makes it suitable for application to both light and dark textiles. Poli-film suggests it has a special top coat offering superior washing-resistance. It has a semi-matt finish closely resembling a traditional plastisol screen print, while maintaing a soft touch. It is NOT highly stretchable, and we do not recommend it for application to stretchy products such as sporting gear.

Our 4030 has a specialised fine-detail carriage media, making it ideal for small lettering and fiddly logos. Another 4030 sold to the Australian market is paired with a totally different carriage media, which makes it nearly impossible to work with fine detail (same vinyl, different backing). Please be careful if you've bought elsewhere that you're comparing apples to apples.
